The 2010 campaign is due to be launched on 1st March 2010 and the North East is holding 2 separate events to both promote the Accolades and provide support to entrants.
In recent years the North East region has done exceptionally well in the competition. Only last year 75% of all entrants from the region reached the final and 2 awards were won by North East organisations including:

Best partnership supporting transformation
Redcar and Cleveland Council for:
Safeguarding Children keeping children safe in Social Care
The regional events are being held as follows:
11th March 2010 at, DBH Business Centre, Billingham from 10.00 am until 12.00 pm
26th March 2010 at, Angel View Inn, Gateshead from 1.00 pm until 3.00 pm.
