Decha are pleased to offer 10 places on the above qualification for our membership through Bishop Auckland College. Each employer member is able to nominate 2 members of staff in the first instance. This module is funded and decha only requires a £9 booking fee, payable before the course commences.
Bishop Auckland College has recently made taking on an apprentice easier than ever before with a dedicated employer-facing team which works with employers to find the best possible match for your business needs. We have developed a system which gives you, the employer the choice of candidates through a series of interviews which Bishop Auckland College arranges either on your premises or at a variety of sites throughout the local area.
Action4Advocacy is advertising a course ‘Managing for Excellence in Advocacy Services’ (a 12 month course completed over 6 one day units)which looks very comprehensive and is at a very good price. The current course is due to commence in London and Manchester, however, as there was interest locally the possibility of a NE based course in the near future is being considered.

School of Health & Social Care at University of Teeside are offering a part-time Postgraduate certificate in Risk Assessment and Compliance.
Decha are pleased to offer this unit to our members through Durham Assessment Centre.
Medication workbooks are available to decha member organisations, for use by domiciliary and home care workers at induction stage.
Decha has worked in conjunction with Durham County Council to produce a social care Common Induction pack, for use by our member organisations.
